Textbooks - Online Bookstore

Textbooks for the Summer 2012 courses are now available in the University's online bookstore. A link to the bookstore is in the Student Portal and on the University's home page, www.Amberton.edu.

Be sure and review the options for selling Spring 2012 textbooks back in the online bookstore.

SUMMER 2012 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

For the Academic Year 2012 - 2013, the cost per course will remain at $ 705.00 with no tuition increase!!!! 

The Summer 2012 Session Schedule of Classes is now online and in print.  P
rint copies of the Schedule of Classes are available at the Garland and Frisco campuses. The online edition has been updated to include additional courses not in the printed schedule.

Be sure to review the syllabi and your degree plan before selecting classes for Summer enrollment. Syllabi are available now for review.  Select syllabi will be updated within a few days with additional course information.


New Online Bookstore Now Available!

Amberton University has entered into an agreement with eCampus.com to provide a full-service online bookstore to students.  The Amberton University Virtual Bookstore is accessible through the University’s website, www.Amberton.edu.  Just look for the “Bookstore” tab across the top of the home page.  There is also a bookstore link in the Student Portal.

The AU Virtual Bookstore provides an easy to use interface, online buyback of books, and same day shipment of most titles with an average delivery time of 2-3 days depending on the student’s location.  Textbook options include new, used, rental, and electronic media as available.  The new bookstore will accommodate students on financial assistance programs that cover textbook purchases.


Spring 2012 Edition of the Student Briefing

The Spring 2012 edition of the Student Briefing is now available on the University's website. Iimportant dates and other information are contained in the briefing so be sure and read it. 

Untitled Document AMBERTON UNIVERSITY RECEIVES SPECIAL RECOGNITION

The Honorable Ronald E. Jones, Mayor of Garland, recognized Amberton University for 40 years of educational excellence in a special ceremony held Tuesday, November 1, 2011, in the City of Garland Council Chambers. Dr. Melinda H. Reagan, President and representatives of the University's Board of Trustees were present and accepted the Proclamation from Mayor Jones.


Student Services Online
A new technology system has been installed on the e-Course Portal allowing students online access to view, print or save their financial and academic records.  This system is available to new students as well as returning students.  Please click on the link on the top right or lower right corner of this webpage to access the e-Course Portal.

Wireless Network (AU Wi-Fi)
During the interim, the University installed a secured, wireless network at both the Garland and Frisco campuses. This wireless network is campus-wide and available to current students and  faculty to complete research and course work. A network key and acceptance of the University's wireless usage policy are required by all users. The network key can be received from the Learning Resource Center and the Student Services Office in Garland and Frisco.
 Validation of enrollment is required before obtaining a key.

NEW CATALOG RELEASED
The 40th Anniversary Edition of the Amberton University Catalog is now available on the University's website, Catalog, and in print.  Print copies of the Catalog are available at the Garland and Frisco campuses.  If you would like a Catalog mailed to you, please contact an Advisor at (972) 279-6511 or Advisor@Amberton.edu

New Payment Options Available

Effective with the Summer 2011 session, Amberton University has been approved to accept and certify private educational loans. Please click on the Financial Aid link for more information.
