Dates Set for Winter Session
Registration for the Winter 2010 Session begins November 1. Distance learning students will have access to their online classes on Saturday, January 2. Lecture classes begin the following week on Saturday, January 9. The Winter Session will run 8 weeks.
Spring 2010 Session Starts Mid-March
University officials have set the dates for the Spring 2010 Session. Registration begins Monday, February 1. Classes for the 10-week session will run from Saturday, March 13 through Thursday, May 20.
Three Information Sessions Scheduled for Winter Session
New and prospective students who want to learn more about Amberton University and the Winter 2010 Session are invited to attend the University’s Information Sessions at either the Garland campus or Frisco center. The first session will be held on Thursday, November 12 at 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. on the Garland campus. The Frisco center will host the second session on Saturday, November 14 at 10 a.m.- noon . The Garland campus holds the third information session on Tuesday, December 15 at 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.
Amberton Prepares for Winter and Spring Commencement
Preparations for the Winter/Spring 2010 Commencement are underway. The graduation ceremony will be held Friday, May 21 at the First Baptist Church of Sunnyvale at 3018 North Belt Line Road. The event starts at 8 p.m.
University Participates in Human Resource Conference
Amberton University will take part in this year’s HR Southwest Conference and Exposition. The 68th annual event is set for October 13-19 at the Forth Worth Convention Center. Amberton will be one of several exhibitors at the 4-day conference. Several thousand HR professionals from across the southwest are expected to attend.
