My Unique Approach to Education

I love teaching because I have a passion for guiding students through the learning process, in addition to a passion for the material I present. One of the best ways to foster learning is to demonstrate those feelings to my students by having an interactive classroom and showing genuineness and excitement in presentation. I encourage learning by creating a relaxed and interactive environment for students, stimulating conversation about concepts being presented and organizing material in a way that makes it easiest to understand.

Brief Biography

I have a private practice in Plano, TX. Here, I provide individual, couple, and family therapy to clients of all ages: children, teens, and adults. My areas of expertise are working with those struggling with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, life changes, behavioral challenges, poor communication and conflict resolution. I also lead groups in an intensive outpatient setting, where our focus is on mood stability, trauma, self regulation and improving awareness of mental health. I truly love working in both an individual and group setting.

I am also a member of the Texas Counseling Association and Dallas Metro Counseling Association, where I have served on the board as President for four years. Being involved and advocating in the mental health profession is also a passion of mine and I feel blessed to have been a part of such a terrific organization.
