My Unique Approach to Education

I believe in the dynamic integration of "theory to practice." Students learn when they can apply academic truth to personal and professional challenges they meet every day. In my classes "practice must inform theory as theory informs practice."

Biography

I was born in Vermont, raised in Hartford then Dallas. My career has taken me to Atlanta and Oklahoma City. I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist, educator and speaker for over thirty years and have founded counseling centers, marriage and family institutes and graduate programs in three states. I have an active private practice and have spoken across the country on relationships, adoption and personal healing and transformation.
