My Unique Approach to Education

– Dr. Doug Richey

Dr. J Doug Richey has forty-four years teaching experience in mathematics at the junior high, senior high, community college and university levels. He has extensive participation and experience in all areas of curriculum development and enhancement of instructional resources. He has numerous endeavors as an educational and statistical consultant. His current professional interests are innovative instructional strategies, technology in the classroom, distance learning, and mathematical applications in everyday life. His B.S. and M.S. degrees are in mathematics and his ED.D. is in mathematics education, and they are from Texas A&M University Commerce. He and his wife, Kathy, live on a small farm in northeast Texas where they enjoy a family of 3 children with M.S., M.D., and ED.D. degrees and four grandchildren, ages 19, 14, 11, and 8. His hobbies include family activities, walking, swimming, aerobic exercise and gardening both vegetables and flowers.
