Amberton University is a private, Christian, nationally-recognized institution of higher learning. Additionally, Amberton is specialized in that it caters exclusively to the needs of the working adult student. The University has been serving those needs in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for over 30 years and is fully accredited to offer a variety of bachelor and master degree programs in both lecture and distance-learning formats. Amberton University students consistently exhibit high levels of performance in passing the State of Texas exams required for the Professional Counseling Licensure as well as the certification for School Counseling.

Amberton University will be offering the following graduate level course for the Fall 2008 Session:

CSL6825.08 Marriage/Family Therapy
This class is offered as a graduate level course only. The class will be taught at the Fort Worth ISD, Professional Development Center on 10 consecutive Monday evenings beginning September 15th, 2008. The class is open to those students who have been granted graduate admission to Amberton University.

CSL6825.08 Marriage/Family Therapy

The course is a survey of the historical development and principal conceptualizations of marital and family therapy goals. Goals include an initial examination and comparison of various therapies currently employed in the field.
