COVID- 19 and Registration for Fall 2021
Registration for the Fall 2021 session opens on Sunday, August 1, 2021 to all eligible students. The safety and health of the Amberton University community is of great importance to the University’s Administration. In light of the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, Amberton University has made the following changes to our Fall 2021 session in order to assist our students and to protect the health and well-being of all students and faculty:
- Lecture courses will be offered during the Fall 2021 session at both campuses (Garland and Frisco). Classroom capacity has been reduced in order for students and faculty to exercise a measure of social distancing in the classroom. The number of offered lecture courses has also been reduced to improve social distancing at each campus.
- Screens are available for classrooms to provide social distancing and protection between faculty and students.
- Currently, face masks are optional for vaccinated individuals entering the University’s facilities. Face masks will continue to be available in each lobby for those individuals who need a mask. We ask all unvaccinated individuals to please wear a face mask while inside the facilities.
- Hand sanitizer stands are available in each lobby area (Garland and Frisco) and in high traffic office areas open to the public.
Amberton University will continue to monitor CDC and other governmental guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic and make changes to the above protocols as needed. These changes can include requiring face masks of all individuals, vaccinated or non-vaccinated, entering the University’s facilities and/or converting lecture courses to an online format. If any changes are warranted based on pandemic conditions and established guidelines, all students, faculty and staff will be immediately notified.See All News
