AMBERTON BUSINESS PROGRAMS AWARDED ACBSP ACCREDITATION

Amberton University is pleased to announce that it has received accreditation for the following business programs through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) http://www.acbsp.org

BBA in Accounting
BBA in General Business
BBA in Management
BBA in Project Management

MBA in General Business
MBA in International Business
MBA in Management
MBA in Project Management
MBA in Strategic Leadership
MS in Agile Project Management
MS in Managerial Science


The following programs were not awarded ACBSP accreditation and were excluded from the process as they are new programs and do not yet meet the requirements of having three cycles of data collection and assessment. 

BBA/MBA in Accounting Dual Program
MBA in Accounting
MS in Enterprise Analytics

 

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners met in April 2022 and approved the business program accreditation for Amberton University.  Based on the Baldridge Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, ACBSP accreditation evaluates aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support to determine whether or not business programs offer a rigorous educational experience and demonstrate quality continuous quality improvement.

With 34 years of excellence in global business program accreditation, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to master’s and doctoral degree programs.  Accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes offered within Amberton University’s Business Division meet rigorous educational standards.  ACBSP is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
