Biography:
Dr. La’Boris Cole, PhD, NCC, LPC, is a native of Mississippi and holds a BS degree in Psychology and an MS degree in Marriage & Family Counseling from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. Her Doctorate degree is in Clinical Counseling: Teaching & Supervision with a specialty in Marriage & Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Cole is a board-certified national counselor and licensed professional counselor. She is also a certified facilitator for Prepare Enrich Marriage Program and a certified Level I Clinician in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Dr. Cole is the CEO/Director of Cole Associates & Counselors of Texas, PLLC, and Restoration Treatment Center, LLC. Both facilities are safe havens that serve the surrounding community by providing substance abuse, addiction, mental health, and therapy/counseling services. She is also a highly sought-after business and life coach to business executives and entrepreneurs.
As an educator, Dr. Cole serves as an Adjunct Professor as well as serving as a drug and alcohol consultant and facilitator for the Metro Davidson County School District’s 1st Offenders Program in Nashville, TN. She is the author of a book titled Wisdom Over War: I Dodged A Bullet – a love story involving war, narcissism, and wisdom. In her “spare” time, Dr. Cole has held leadership roles in ministry focusing on merging worship arts with mental and emotional health awareness.
