Biography

Dr. Lee Paul is Professor of Counseling / Human Behavior and Development at Amberton University. He maintains a private practice in counseling and psychotherapy, working primarily with individuals with anxiety disorders. He is also a consultant and seminar presenter for numerous business organizations, hospitals, and universities in the area of conflict management, and has appeared on television talk shows as an authority in conflict resolution. He has served on the Ethics Committee at Baylor-Garland Hospital, the President’s Council at Christian Care Senior Living, and the Advisory Board for RFD Television Network.

Dr. Paul has guest lectured at Baylor University Medical Center, Sammons Cancer Center, St. Paul Hospital, John Peter Smith Hospital, The University of Dallas, Navarro College, and Baylor University College of Dentistry. He has held memberships in the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and he has been credentialed by the National Council on Family Relations as a Certified Family Life Educator.

He is the co-author of the book The Parable of a Man. Dr. Paul has been listed in "Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare", "Who's Who in America", "Who's Who in the World", "Top Doctors in Psychotherapy", and he was recently awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Paul and his wife, Stephanie, have three sons, Blake, Ryan, and Cameron and reside in Rowlett, Texas. The Paul family attends Saturn Road Church of Christ where Dr. Paul directs the counseling ministry.
