My Unique Approach to Education

“Given my personal background in multiple learning modalities and previous experience as a non-traditional, adult learner, I tend to utilize real-world (de-identified) clinical cases in conjunction with up-to-date research that highlights the utility of professional counseling as it relates to neuroscience and emerging trends in the profession.”

Dr. Armstrong has a bachelor’s of science from Texas A&M University – College Station in community health/biomedical science, a master’s degree in psychology (professional counseling emphasis), and a doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialty emphasis in clinical neuropsychology from the University of the Rockies in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He completed a 1-year, APPIC – approved, pre-doctoral internship in clinical neuropsychology in Dallas and subsequently completed a formal two-year post-doctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology in Tyler/Paris, Texas under the supervision of a board certified clinical neuropsychologist. Additionally, Dr. Levi earned his post-doctoral master’s of science degree in clinical psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, which affords him advanced knowledge and clinical training in psychotropic medications.
