Private Education Loans
While the University participates in Federal Direct Loan programs, we realize that unforeseen financial circumstances occur that may temporarily disrupt students’ educational benefits. For this reason, Amberton University has agreement(s) with loan providers who offer private loans for educational expenses. These loans are not federally-funded and are designed to assist approved students with payment of tuition, fees, and textbooks. They are not designed to provide income for day-to-day living expenses normally covered by the working adult’s employment income. The University does not have any revenue-sharing agreements with private education loan lenders.
Sallie Mae® Smart Option Student Loan®
The Sallie Mae® Smart Option Student Loan® is a private, credit-based, school-certified student loan for student borrowers enrolled at least half time. With this loan, qualified students may be eligible to borrow up to the full cost of their education as certified by the University.
Discover Student Loans
Discover Student Loans can help students cover up to 100% of school expenses not covered by their financial aid package. Discover loans are private, credit-based, school-certified funds, open to undergraduate and graduate students.
